Bristol International Balloon Fiesta
Bristol
Europe's biggest hot-air balloon event, at Ashton Court Estate. It usually runs over four days in early to mid August, with mass launches in the early morning and evening if the weather allows. Entry is free.

Getting there
- Bristol Temple Meads is the main station, with buses towards Ashton Court
- Walk from Hotwells or over the Clifton Suspension Bridge — about 30 minutes
- Paid parking on site, and roads nearby get very busy
TipBalloon launches depend on the weather. Stay at least two nights to give yourself more chances to see a mass launch.
