One of the Lake District's best-loved traditional sports days, held on the Showfield in Grasmere, with Cumberland and Westmorland wrestling, fell races, hound trails, track events, sheepdog displays and terrier shows. It is usually held on the Sunday of the August Bank Holiday weekend, so 29 August in 2027.
